LR-108 pigment is an alumina treated rutile titanium dioxide pigment made by the sulfate process. It is specially designed for masterbatch and compounding applications.

LR-108 pigment disperses easily in polyolefins, with minimal effect on melt flow index, so that even masterbatch with high TiO2 concentration can produce film with high opacity and whiteness.

LR-108 pigment is recommended for plastics applications that require high thermal stability. It is designed with a hydrophobic surface that acts as a barrier to help prevent the pigment from absorbing moisture from the air.

STORAGE

This product should not be stored outside or exposed to temperature extremes or to moisture. To ensure optimum performance, it is recommended that the product is used on a first in, first out basis from receipt of shipment.

LB Group titanium dioxide pigments are available in 25kg bags and a range of flexible intermediate bulk containers.

Another significant application of titanium dioxide is in the cosmetics and personal care industry. It is used in products like sunscreens, foundations, and powders.
